Mountain Gorilla — Living Coin is a dynamic NFT: a 3D coin in pure CSS, zero libraries, a single HTML file made for IPFS. On load it queries the GBIF biodiversity database for observations of Gorilla beringei beringei — more observations bring warmer gold, faster spin and a fuller health ring. Mountain gorillas are a rare conservation recovery story, so the coin is designed to bloom, not fade.
